My name is Cristina Pizzagalli. Since the early days of web standards, I have been doggedly pursuing the elusive balance of stellar user experience within real-world constraints and marketing objectives.
It's not always easy, but somewhere between budgets, development hurdles and aggressive timelines, I have been honing my craft – with the end result being digital work that is visually stunning as well as exceptionally stable and accessible on every platform and device.
Always an artist at heart, I've worn many hats during the years.
I've lived and breathed this medium for so long that I've built a career moving along the project lifecycle - sometimes overseeing, sometimes producing, sometimes consulting - from Design & UX Specialist, Front-End Developer, to Senior Manager of User Interface. If a project has needed managing, I've pitched in and filled those shoes too (well, more like generated that burn-down chart).
I've had the privilege to be team lead and mentor to some of the most talented Designers, Front-End Devs and QA Analysts in the business. Everything and anything to usher the idea of a project into glorious, accessible, reality.
Speaking of accessible - none of this is worth it unless it can be enjoyed by everyone. WCAG requirements are always top of mind, and I've weathered the government audits to prove it.
At the end of the day, happy project managers, developers, designers, client teams and most importantly end users are my stock-in-trade.
I'm currently prototyping a human being, but returning to all things digital marketing in Spring 2018.
